Online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy.
You may have questions about online therapy. Is it as good as meeting in person? Is it confidential? Do I need special equipment?
Meeting with a therapist online is just as effective as meeting in person.
Therapy is a relationship between you and your therapist. Our conversations are the same no matter how we meet. The effectiveness of therapy does not change.
Online therapy is more convenient than meeting in person.
We can meet anywhere you have an Internet connection. You can connect using a computer, tablet or phone.
You don’t have to deal with traffic or a car that won’t start. Your appointment can be from your home, office, or even your car (provided you aren’t driving!).
You can meet me in your pajamas and slippers if you want (can it get any easier?) during our sessions.
The key to a meeting place is that it is private for you.
Our conversations are confidential.
We meet on a secure platform that is HIPPA approved, to protect your privacy. HIPPA is the same set of rules that your doctor uses to protect your privacy.
Mental health is held to the same rules as your doctor, so no one knows your identity or that you are talking to a therapist.
Everything we talk about is confidential and private.
It’s easy to get started! Call me at (231) 338-6173 or email me at pam@pamgrzech.com. We’ll set up a free 20-minute consultation to discuss your needs and how I can help.
